Micromax, an Indian manufacturer has unveiled its first 3D Smartphone known as Micromax Canvas 3D A115 to add a new handset in the Canvas range. This Smartphone features 5 inch full touch 3D display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by 1 GHz dual core MediaTek MT65771 processor with 1 GB of RAM. Being a true 3D phone, Micromax Canvas 3D A115 do not require 3D glasses to view its content. This Smartphone is packed with 2,000 mAh battery and is rated at a talk time of up to 4.5 hours. The phone also features 5-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and a VGA front camera for video chatting. As per company’s claim, the phone also has software that can convert the regular pictures into the 3D picture format. The connectivity options on Micromax A115 Canvas 3D include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G and USB.
The phone comes with 'Micromax 3D Space' pre-installed that provides access to 3D videos, and pre-loaded 3D games. This Smartphone will be available across all leading retail outlets in India as well as Micromax's official website by the first week of May, 2013. It is priced at Rs 9,999.
